My Aquatics Experience-in a nutshell is-: I have taught swimming for nearly 22 years. I am also an RN who cares deeply about children and their safety in and around the water. I grew up in Florida with a pool outside my back door. My sister was a near drowning at age 2. 8 years ago after teaching privately for years I felt that more children needed affordable quality lessons which is the reason for starting a private swim school.

My area of expertise (as others see me): My area of expertise is with babies 6 months and up to children age 3. My focus is on safety and survival. I want to know tha tchildrne are safe in the water and can handle themselves in the event that they were to fall into the water. I also have a love of working with children that have special needs. swimming is a wonderful activity for children with low muscle tone and a great way to make a child feel great about something they can do on their own just like other children. All children can learn to swim. My school teaches children of all ages and adults.

My current Aquatics related position is-: I am currently owner and president of Starfish Swim School. I was the first to open a swim school in the Denver area. Many in the area have tried to copy us but we continue to receive rave reveiws from parents due to our wonderful curriculum that truly teaches all children how to swim in a warm, safe and caring environment with well trained mature staff. I am proud of my accomplishments and look forward to continued growth.
