Health and safety for everyone who swims is paramount, and this includes clean pool water to swim in. There are the occasional public misconceptions that chlorine will kill all pathogens in the water, and contaminates in the water are not the big deal that it's made out to be. Fortunately public education is helping to dispel some of these beliefs.
